As promised I have LOTS And LOTS more pictures of our trip to Cali and the rest of our summer.
She was getting tired on the Heimlich's Chew chew train
Julies former co worker and friend Jazz was also there with his wife and kids and they were nice enough to take this picture for us. see what I mean about only a few good pictures?
The next day we went to Doheny Beach. It was a lot of fun, despite the steep incline and HUGE waves that threatened to drown the little kids, even the big kids.
Riley was not to fond of the water so she stuck to the sand
Bridget wasn't allowed to go much farther than the blanket because I'm paranoid.
I think they liked the beach anyway.
The boys tried to build a sand turtle but the waves got bigger and bigger and kept washing it's fins away.
We got a cool experience while at Disneyland our fourth day. The space shuttle Endeavor was making it's way to a museum and it flew right over Disneyland. Because we didn't know what time it was flying over the park exactly we went into the park and Ben took our camera and got these pictures from the roof of the parking garage.
We took the kids to Peter Pan and just as we were exiting the ride the shuttle flew right over and I was able to get this video:
Cool right? It was perfect timing.
Bridget and Riley got to ride the Dumbo ride with Daddy and Grandpa because it was too hot for me to stand in line with them.
Then we went to Frontierland and went to the little petting zoo. Riley was really stoked about petting a goat. she wouldn't stop talking about it all day.
I think this one was her favorite.
Ben would talk to the goats and Riley liked that. We don't have pictures of Bridget because she was getting her dirty diaper changed.
See we did get pictures of Trevon:)
In Toon Town
The quintessential Disneyland picture lifting the toon weights.
And she got photo bombed by Grandpa.
Then to Riley's great joy, we got her face painted.Last time Riley got her face painted she cried the whole time and didn't want the person painting her face to get too close to her. So obviously we were a little tentative about spending 18.00$ on something she may or may not even allow to be finished.
Put to our great surprise, Riley was good and cooperative the whole time.
I thought she might have even fell asleep
And now GLITTER!
All Done!!!
She loved getting her face painted. And I love that she loved it.
On the teacups with Dad. Mom, Grandma and Trevon were standing in line for a ride that shut down as soon as they got to the front of the line.
They look like they had a good time huh?
I amd going to take another break from blogging for a little bit and I still have two more days of our vacation and the rest of our summer and Halloween. Yeah I'm never going to be completely caught up. I think it's time that I just come to terms with that.:)
