I got to see my baby!

I was blessed to see my baby on Saturday due to the proactivity of my mother in law. She made an appointment for my sister in law but I didn't know I was going until the day of. We were able to find out that we're right on time for the due date of July 6th, 2009, and we also found out we're having a baby girl. We already have the name Riley Maxine picked out for her and now we're even more excited to actually have her here. we got all the typical pictures even the alien looking one, which is a little frightening and we found when they measured her brain she is one day smarter than her due date. I like to brag if you can't tell. The guy said that she has very long legs for a baby her size but honestly, look at her father. He also couldn't get over how cute and squished her little nose is. I said it looks like a "Who"-nose and everyone thought I said "poo"-nose but I think she's going to be the cutest thing walking around on two very long legs.

Feeding the Ducks on New Years

Every so often Tim's mom likes to take the grand kids and Trevon out to the Salt Lake Airport International Center where there is a lake and a bridge and a huge flock of ducks that stay there all year round, waiting for the day they will come to feed them old stale bread. The white duck in the center is Mikaela Kolka-Dot Duck named so for the pattern in her feathers. Mikaela named her when she was little and could say Polka-Dot so she became the Kolka-Dot Duck. Last spring and summer she was raising little ducklings on the pond so we spent a deal of time trying to guess which ducklings were hers.

Julie, Kynna, Mikaela and Trevon on the safety of the table away from the awful Geese.
All the birds cam right up to meet us at the car! they were starving and the Geese would get so close the little girls were afraid to get off the table. What awful manners!!!
