Mercedes finally went into real life labor (good enough for the doctor anyway) and Landon James is finally here.He started to get stressed around 12 at night and his heartbeat was really high, so the doctors thought it would be best to do an emergency c-section. Finally around 1 30 in the morning (on my birthday:)) He was born. Mercedes has healed fine, but it's taken Landon a while to get over the traumatic events of being born and switching to life as a baby outside of his mom. He is very cute and loves to wiggle around. He was born weighing 7 pounds 2 ounces and he is 20 inches long, so he has been a lot bigger than the babies whose company he's been sharing. Mercedes' last night in the hospital was last night, but unfortunately they will not be able to bring Landon home right away. Even so, we are so happy that both mom and baby are still here and are progressing. We love him already!!!!!
